The St Mark’s School Fair is an annual tradition that is attended by families from all across Christchurch. It is one of the school’s primary fundraising activities, with all proceeds going back into new resources for the children.
Previous items include basketball and netball hoops, football goals, contributions to the new senior playground and school minibuses.
The St Mark's School Parents Association seek to raise $20,000 for 2024/25 which will go towards Performing Arts resources including stage equipment and lighting along with other school resources.

Fair Donations
We need your help to fill the fair with wonderful things to buy, eat and play.
See the information below as to what items we would love to be donated.
September is a great time to start sowing seedlings, a great activity to do with the kids. And if you’re thinking about spring cleaning, save up a pile of goodies for the white elephant.
Fair Bags
WHEN: Start of Term 4
WHERE: Office
At the end of term 3 we will send home bags for you to return start of term 4. We ask you to fill them with sweets for lolly bags, chocolate for the chocolate wheel, and prizes for the pirate dig and hamper raffle.

Jar Tombola
WHEN: Fair week
WHERE: Classrooms/Entrance
For this kids favourite stall we require LOTS of jars full of fun. A great activity to do with the kids.
Fill jars with toys, hair clips, nail polish, sweets, stationary, whatever you can think of.

Horticulture
WHEN: Fair week
WHERE: Entrance/Office
We welcome all plant donations and flowers for the horticulture stall. Indoor plants, plant pots, seedlings, seeds, cut flowers, gardening accessories or equipment.
White Elephant
WHEN: Fair Week
WHERE: School Hall
Donations of good quality items such as books, toys, puzzles, games, homewares, clothing, shoes and sports equipment.
Fudge
WHEN: Day before Fair
WHERE: Entrance/Office
A St Mark’s tradition and a top seller. We require donations of delicious fudge or other sweet delights bagged up and ready to sell.
Baking
WHEN: Fair week
WHERE: Entrance/Office
One of the adults favourite stalls. We welcome donations of home baking. Cakes, cupcakes, biscuits, slices, scone, pretzels and more...

You can usually Helen outside Waka Pūhara or trying to drag her son off the turf at pick up. Or working on the Coffee Cart on Friday mornings.
Ange Booth
As Chair of the PA and with children in Year 8 & 5, Ange can be found all around the school!
Presh Roe
Another Waka Pūhara Mum with girls in Year 3 & 5. Presh is often around at pick up and is our marketing and comms guru.
